Howdy Folks!
Yes it’s been a long time that I didn’t post anything on my WordPress blog…A lot has happen since last post, and I am terribly sorry for that matter. But I have great news to share with you today. If you follow me elsewhere you might already know that I’ve been invited to a theme show in New York, Brooklyn at The Bottleneck Gallery. I was so excited to be part of this show among several artists. Hello Folks!!
Been out for few days to work on a special request for a teenager’s room. I’ve been ask to draw a black & white graffiti style on half of the wall. The boy is a grease monkey, when his not on his motocross or scooter his actually working on them so it was very important for him to have the a “Stage 6″ logo somewhere, which I did of course.
Like most of you know, I usually work on digital paintings so the fact to have a brush in my hand was already a challenge. I started with a doodle of course and then attacked the wall with a pencil before applying the paint. I got inspired with McBess work and the group “En Masse” which does incredible work in public places. My client and the boy loved it so I took my chance by doing something that will look like it but with my own touch in it.
Took 4 days to complete the wall and it was a great experience. So here’s a few images of the artwork, sorry for the photo quality it was taken with my phone and ipad. I actually need to find time to go back with a better camera, but for now this is what I have.

Good day folks! This is actually my first post on this new blog of mine. The design haven’t change much but the content will. Like some of you know, I decided to put a stop on my previous posts to give me the chance to publish more of my personal work. For this special moment, I wanted to create a fan art for the Avengers.To give you a little description on that piece, it is of course a digital painting created entirely in photoshop. Took me more than 40 hours…this is far from being my usual time, which is 5 hours for most of my drawings. I was constantly redoing it, wasn’t happy with the results and at the same time I tried different ways to create it…big fails. But you got to try to see. However, it was my first “blind” fan art, meaning, no references…which I usually have on the side. The original size is 36×24 inches with more than 80 layers and definitely looks better on a big canvas.

Finally, I promised to create a time lapse with it. It was my first time doing this so I apologize if it’s not yet accurate and there is one or 2 times that I completely forgot about recording my screen, but don’t worry you won’t miss the important things.
